Aaron Eckhart Born Aaron E. Eckhart on 12 March 1968, in Santa Clara County, California, USA, Aaron was born with chiselled good looks. After having spent part of his formative years in England, and while in Sydney, Australia dropped out of high school, eventually enrolling at Brigham Young University, to earn a high school degree, where he met his future collaborator Neil LaBrute. Having earned his graduation, Eckhart joined the ranks of numerous unemployed actors in Manhattan, but got lucky with beer! He was selected to play a construction worker for a beer commercial. In 1993, upon his return to California, he started acting in bit roles for serials such as 'Ancient Secrets of the Bible, Part II' until In the Company of Men happened. Soon after the success of this movie, Eckhart and LaBrute collaborated again for 'Your Friends and Neighbours' (1998); and Eckhart was virtually unrecognizable as an overweight, impotent and sexually frustrated husband. Once again, the actor managed to demonstrate an astonishing range of emotions and gained more than 30 pounds for the role!

Both B.J. and Nick were born at WCA Hospital in Jamestown, NY, where the family lived before moving to Florida. Elton John was born Reginald Kenneth Dwight on March 25, 1947, in the town of Pinner in Middlesex, England. An only child who was overweight and wore glasses, he was afraid of his father, a squadron leader (a ranking officer) with the Royal Air Force, whom he described as "very snobbish and sort of stiff." His mother Sheila, on the other hand, brought home records that introduced him to rock music. John taught himself to play the piano at the age of four. He studied at the London Academy of Music but quit two weeks before graduation to pursue a musical career. In 1968 John met Bernie Taupin (1950–), who became his long-term song-writing partner. John's first album, Empty Sky (1969), was a commercial failure. His second album contained "Your Song," a hit in both the United States and England. In 1972 "Rocket Man" became his first number-one single in America. Other hits followed, including "Daniel" and "Crocodile Rock" from the album Don't Shoot Me, I'm Only the Piano Player. The album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (1973) contained "Candle in the Wind," written about actress Marilyn Monroe (1926–1962). That same year, John launched his own record label, Rocket Records.

U2
U2 was officially formed in Dublin, Ireland September 25, 1976. 14-year-old Larry Mullen, Jr. advertised on his secondary school bulletin board for musicians for a new band. Those in attendance at the resulting meeting included Bono (Paul Hewson), the Edge (David Evans), Adam Clayton, the Edge's brother Dik Evans, Ivan McCormick, and Peter Martin. The group settled on the name Feedback, McCormick and Martin were out within weeks, and the 5 remaining began to play as a group. Within 18 months Feedback became the Hype. In March, 1978, the group played a Limerick, Ireland talent show that got the attention of CBS Records and an offer to record demos. The same month Dik Evans left the band, and the group switched their name to U2. The origin of the name U2 is shrouded in various legends and stories. U2 signed a recording contract with Island in March, 1980, and their first album Boy was released in October, 1980 to strong critical acclaim.

Born Orpah (after a character from the Bible) Winfrey on January 29, 1954 in Kosciusko, Mississippi - USA, but now goes by the name of Oprah. At a young age Winfrey's parents separated and sent her to live with grandparents in very poor surroundings until the age of 6 when she moved to live with her mother. She was consequently se-xually mol-ested by male relatives at a young age and endured the hardship up until she was 14 when Winfrey moved to live with her father in Nashville Tennessee. Living with her father did not eliminate her problems even though he was loving (yet strict) towards her. Winfrey struggled with dr-ugs and rebellious behavior and lost a baby after giving birth to it prematurely. Although her wild behavior conflicted with her father's strict rules and high standards she eventually began to settle after being awarded a University Scholarship.

Adam Brody Born and raised in San Diego, California, Adam Brody told his parents that he was going to attend college in Los Angeles after graduating from high school. Once there, however, rather than enrolling in school, he took private acting classes and signed with a personal manager. Brody landed a number of roles within a short amount of time, including a guest appearance on ABC's hit TV series Once and Again, a role in an independent film called Never Land (2000) and the lead role of Barry Williams in the TV movie biography Growing Up Brady (2000). A stint on the MTV series Undressed was short lived, but Brody managed to make appearances in another independent film, The Silencing (2000), and in the MTV movie The Sausage Factory (2000), all before the year's end.
